We knew as soon as we set eyes on it, that The Old Greens Barn was the venue for us - we wanted it to be scenic, but a relaxed atmosphere, and specifically somewhere we could personalise exactly as we wanted it, near to the Church we wanted - and that's exactly what we got. Walking in on the day to chillout music, watching our guests relax whilst helping themselves to Pimms made us realised we made the right choice. Beautiful grounds on the lake, we also had the opportunity to book our own hog roast for the day, and allow a fish and chip van to arrive for the evening. We attached a marquee to the side, and split seating between the barn and marquee which worked well. Planning was seamless, with quick response to questions and recommendations of various hire companies should we want them. We married at St Peter's Church round the corner - that too was excellent, with lovely people who really made us feel at home there and helped us to prepare for our big day and beyond. All in all we had our perfect day.
